BREITLING (Pult Chronograph / Chocolate ChronoMatic ref. 2117), ca. 1971 Brushed steel driver chronograph with screw-down back (signed and numbered). Second generation chocolate brown dial (Chrono-Matic marking at 6 o'clock), nicknamed Bullhead or Mickey. It was worn above or below the wrist during the race. Dial two white counters (hours at 6 o'clock, minutes at 12 o'clock), large orange second hand for the stopwatch. Date at 3 o'clock and orange luminescent hands. Tachymeter scale and pulse measurement, two-tone graduated steel bezel. Crown at 6 o'clock. Leather strap. Movement: Mechanical automatic BUREN 12 chrono-matic calibre / signed by the Hamilton Swiss workshops. Dim. 42 x 49 mm. Condition: Very Fine. (Vintage Breitling case)
