BREITLING (NAVITIMER CHRONO-MATIC / COSMONAUTE 24 H - ref. 1809), circa 1970 Automatic sports chronograph, sold in very rare condition, with a large opening (a first hand, having belonged to a fighter pilot). Octagonal-shaped steel case, black anodized steel notched bi-directional bezel (slightly missing) and screwed case-back (signed and numbered, patent no. DDE.BR 11525/67). Black dial with integrated slide rule and silvered bezel on the flange graduated over 60. Function: the hour hand runs through 24 hours in a single turn of the dial. Two silvered counters (minutes at 3 o'clock and hours at 9 o'clock) and date window at 6 o'clock. Orange spatula hands and large orange second hand, tritium Arabic numerals. Two straps, a period rubber Tropic barcelet and an applied black leather strap. Movement: Mechanical self-winding caliber signed BREITLING / Buren 14 Swiss. Diam. 48 mm. Condition : Very nice (Vintage yellow Breitling pencil case, Navitimer Cosmonaute booklet, certificate of origin).
