Naval officer saber model Prairial An XII. Fluted ebony handle (crack). Chased and gilded brass mounting. Pommel decorated with a flower bordered with laurel frieze, with skirt decorated with a pearl frieze. Guard with a branch, partly openwork, with sides. Node of body with the anchor on bundle of flags. Quillon in head of animal. Curved Solingen blade with flat back, counter-edge, hollow sides, signed "N.K." on the heel, engraved with gold and blued in thirds with trophies. Scabbard covered with chagrin with two hooks, decorated with a marine deity. Bouterole decorated with rush and palmette. B.E. First Empire period. Length with scabbard : 93,5 cm Without scabbard : 88,5 cm Blade : 72 cm
