CARTIER Paris 18K (750 thousandths) yellow gold buttonhole in the shape of a shell surmounting a filactery with the inscription 25 ans and adorned with a round diamond. French work signed CARTIER Paris and hallmarked Cartier. Work of the 1950's. H. 1.3 cm Gross weight: 2.7 g These buttonholes were offered by Shell to its employees to celebrate their years of service. Without gemstone for 10 years, a ruby for 15 years, an emerald for 20 years, a diamond for 25 years, two diamonds for 30 years.
