SHEAFFER - Lot 66
SHEAFFER circa 1996 Brass fountain pen plated with yellow gold (missing plating), chased with scrolls, nib in 18-carat yellow gold (750 thousandths). Issued in a limited edition of 6,000 in 1996, commemorating the lever filling system patented by W.A. Sheaffer on August 25, 1908. The patent number 896.861 is engraved below the lever.
