Jaume Plensa is a Spanish artist born in Barcelona in 1955. He is best known for his monumental sculptures, often in iron, stainless steel, bronze or resin. His work explores themes such as humanity, identity, memory and language. The work presented here can be compared with the monumental "Tel Aviv Man" in Israel, which depicts a seated human figure composed of intertwined metal letters, forming an openwork, translucent structure.
