Silver (800 parts per thousand) and silver plated “onion-shaped” pocket watch with a double case, featuring chiseled floral and foliage motifs and adorned in the center with a mythological scene in repoussé (missing). The white enamel dial (cracked; one hand and the glass are missing; the bezel hinge is damaged) features painted Roman numerals. The lugs are made of metal. Rooster-shaped movement signed “Samson London” (winding key missing). English work from the late 18th century. Diameter: 41 mm. Condition: Fairly good. Gross weight: 85.4 g
