All the volumes bear one of the three bookplates of the collection: most of them, the round or the oval, self-adhesive, with a boar jumping in a belt forming a circle, marked M.V.C., others the oval on cream laid paper with two snipes in bistre.
Almost all the volumes are bound by the workshop C. Bazin and R. Leblond in Longueil-Sainte-Marie in Oise, with its label. The works concerning the venery are bound in green basane, those on fishing in blue basane and the others in brown basane.
